Treebeards, a longtime KHA Interiors client, was expanding under new ownership. Kendall/Heaton Associates designed two new take-away restaurants complete with catering kitchens in downtown Houston high-rise towers at Pennzoil Place and 1100 Louisiana. Additional locations at The Cloister, The Shops at Houston Center and Market Square were also renovated. Intent on refreshing the brand while respecting the beloved atmosphere, KHA designed spaces that have the feel of a fresh food market, exploring a lively colors and materials palette of natural woods, a mix of metals and painted murals.
