This corporate campus project will be an active physical and digital hub that fosters CoStar’s global research, growth, innovation, and talent development. CoStar’s existing facility, a 10-story office building on 10 acres in downtown Richmond, is expanded with the addition of a 22-story office tower, entrance pavilion, 6-story amenity building and one-acre court and open-air amphitheater to create the CoStar Richmond Campus. The new workplace will accommodate more than 2,200 employees for CoStar across multiple departments including its research and technology teams.
Photovoltaic panels are integrated into the new façade spandrel panels and terrace canopy panels to offset up to 8% of the building’s annual electrical usage. LED diodes that create an animated graphic display are integrated into the tower façade vision glazing to make the tower a prominent element in the city’s evening skyline. The new six-story amenity building features a hybrid steel and timber structure with cross-laminated timber decks and houses fitness, food hall, auditorium, and training facilities.
The project will seek LEED Platinum certification by the USGBC.
The project will seek LEED Zero Carbon certification by the USGBC.
The Project will seek WELL Platinum by the IWBI.
