100 W Walnut is the first phase, of a mixed use development with office building, retail, and five residential buildings. Large windows frame views from the office floors out to the mountain peaks of the surrounding Angeles National Forest. The structure for the building is pulled to the exterior within the brick façade, allowing for large interior floorplates. Shared terraces are located on the upper floors to allow for outdoor meeting space.
Taking advantage of the mild climate of Pasadena, the office is equipped with operable windows, to allow for natural ventilation. Workspaces are designed to spill out onto adjacent courtyards and terraces.
The project is LEED Gold certified by the USGBC.
